I've drove in the rain before, and in fact, I took my driver's license test in the rain. But on the way home today it rained very heavily! It was raining so hard I couldn't even see the road. I almost pulled over but then it started to let up a little, but man was that some rain!

At the moment we're under a severe thunderstorm warning, so that's probably why it's raining so hard.

Oh me too. I'm live in California and it's not raining here. What state do you live in?

Is it true California girls are the best looking? lol If so, I might have to move out there. Just kidding.

Sweet home Alabama.

And wow I want to visit Alabama some day. Haha

I once drove in a storm where it was not only raining heavily but there was ground lightning. I tried to find an overpass where I could park under it until the storm let up. There were none on this stretch of the highway. I was never so scared in my entire life!

It was definitely scary, because one minute it was barely sprinkling and the next it was raining so hard my windshield wipers couldn't keep up and my visibility was close to zero. I started to panic because I was going about 45 because at the time it was only sprinkling, but in a matter of seconds I couldn't see the road.

It's a horrible feeling, MrJ, when you can't see anything! I love how they teach you do not panic. Heck, that's easier said then done. I'm glad you came out of this safely.

I know that pulling in carts in some seriously heavy rain isn't all that fun. o.0. Makes it feel like you have water filled shoes afterwards. o.0

Rain? Whats that?

Ive been driving in some heavy downpours on the freeway hours away from home & I don't care if I have to go slow (and it takes me all night to get home), I want to make it home in one piece.

I don't drive, but I hate it when I'm in the car and it rains really hard :\

We were going up a steep mountain (9.5% slope) and it was raining really hard, and it was foggy. We couldn't see anything ahead, so my Dad had to stick his head out of the window and tell my Mom which direction to go. o.o I was terrified. (And I was only like, six at the time lol)

On the topic of heavy rain, it was bucketing down tonight.
