Have you ever dealt with people who demand instant gratification and get upset if they dont get it?

For example: You tell them I'll be there in a minute or I'll help you when I am finished with this and they get all pissy?

That's most people isn't it? All the kids in school are like that, some teachers and the Head are like that, I can be like that if I'm tired or stressed or hungry or any combination of those! Lol.



The last couple of days I've been hell to live with, at work AND at home. I'm stressy, I'm tired, I'm headachy and I'm due on which REALLY doesn't help!

And which is probably tmi anyway!

I'm only like that after I already asked the person a couple of times and they still didn't do it. And yes, my father is like that. If he wants me to do something I have to do it immediately or he gets angry.

Instant gratification? That just sounds wrong

Anyhow, no, not really.

Yes constantly. I think this instant communication world we have created has a lot to do with it. At work, I always get I sent you an email two minutes ago, what do you mean you haven't yet digested it and replied?.



It will be interesting to see what happens with this generation of kids (gen Z, gen M whatever they are called) who have grown up on a diet of speedy communications, easy information accessibility and twittering messages in 120 words or less.
