History is pretty much my best subject

As far as 'certain' things from history--I like studying

The American Civil War

The American West

The British Royals (back as far as William the Conqueror)

I can't stand studying the Titanic, the Alamo, or The Holocaust (too sad)

I like to learn about my family tree

Not really that thrilled about it as a hobby but some things in history can be interesting.

I have tons of stuff on our family tree. Which ancestors served in which branch of the military. What they did.

My grandmother was a complete family history nut. She not only did the charts (paul married francis and had 2 children, George and Anne) but she put notes on the back of each page that she found interesting (George served in ww2 and was wounded during the Normandy invasion) Things like that--makes it all seem so much more real. It's pretty cool....

Not necessarily a history fanatic to say the least but I have been known to spend hours upon hours reading books involving conspiracies and overall US histories.

The stuff I learned in school was basiclly:

Roman Empire

Egyptians

Scotland Before World War I

UK during WW1

Germany after WW1 and before WW2

Stuff I learnt in school was WW2, Greek and Roman. That was it.

Most of my knowledge comes from after school.

No not really although I like studying Einstein's work. World war II is another history subject I like to study.
