Hitchhiking?

Hitchhiking is illegal in a lot of areas, have you ever done it? It's where you put your thumb out to hitch a ride from a stranger.

No. I've never been put in a position where I had to use it. I have walked to work a few times and had people offer to give me a lift, and I've turned them down because I was raised to never get in cars with strangers.

I've never done it and I doubt I'd ever feel comfortable doing that, especially now

In my entire life, I did this once. When I was in Tajikistan, the shared car that I was riding broke down in the middle of the desert. I cannot just stay there for safety reasons. So my desperate move is to hitchhike.
