Would you consider homemade pet food over commercially prepared ones?

No. It would be impossible for me to make homemade pet food for my parrot. I give my dogs Merrick canned dog food which is about as homemade as you can get.

Do you think your dogs are more healthier because of the brand you buy Jazz?

Anyway, I don't have any pets at the moment to make homemade pet food for in the first place, but I never have made it myself. Just bought the reputable brands. I have given my pets homemade snacks appropriate for them.

The Merrick dog food I buy for them is called Grammy's Pot Pie. There are real chicken pieces, peas, carrot and diced apples in it. Pretty much covers the essential food groups for them.
I give them Charlee Bear treats (cheese & egg flavored) and they only have 3 calories each. Both of my dogs have shiny coats and are at ideal weight for their size.

How much does Merrick cost as opposed to the other brands?

I buy Merrick directly from the company. I pay get 24 cans for $38.16 = $1.59 a can. Not sure about the cost of other brands because they've been on Merrick since they were puppies.

How long does a 24 pack last?
