Trying to be a model soon and I wanted to know any opinions on my pictures? Had a in town photographer take them but I will have my own camera soon.

Nice pics!

The American flag one in the middle is my fav.

Don't know anything about the modeling industry though. :|

In professional modeling, I won't know anyone who looks at my pictures either :p so that's why it's the best way to get opinons, because no one knows me lol

Gorgeous.

You really are.

Ps if you ever need help spicing pics up, I can help!

Not leaving much to the imagination in #1 and #3 :P pretty sure most of my underwear is longer than those shorts >_> The first picture's focal point is quite... uh. Yeah. Having your hair and shadow covering half of your face in #1 kind of ruins it, at least for me. Your position overall is pretty wooden, I realise trying to model is quite nerve-wracking (I did it back in college) but try to look a bit more natural. You look like you're uncomfortable.

The shadows in the second picture are a little off. The sunlight filtering through the flag is a really nice touch, and it's really a good picture, but as with the first you're enveloped in darkness. Maybe it's a design choice by the photographer and it worked for them, but I'm not really feeling it myself.

The third picture is my favourite. You actually seem relaxed, unlike the other two. There's also minimal shadows, which allows viewers to actually see you as a model. Overall it's a very girl-next-door shot. It's a good photo.

The photographer I am guessing did not use a flash? Shadows in your face should have been removed with a flash. The second photo appears to have the ISO sky rocketing with it being a very noisy photo. And try to do the photos sessions when sunrise just comes up or comes down. The photos will look much better then having blaring sun coming down on you.

On this one I broke the rule of doing it during the middle of the day and had to use a flash to get rid of the heavy shadows. This is kinda what it should have looked like in your photos.

And you can be sexy without revealing so much. Just something to think about.

The lighting in the first two wasn't the best.

Try some where you're not looking directly at the camera, something like this:

From the second article linked below:

But really, it just takes practice from both the photographer and the model.

And I do have some idea what I'm talking about:

ALSO:

Beware of these:

A two for one modeling agency scam review

Toospoiled.com and Exploretalent.com
the Desk is not in the habit of hotlinking to criminal outfits, sorry

There's a couple of modeling scams that have come to light recently.
Both promise potential models that their pictures and bios will be in front of thousands of casting directors and talent agents. Both crow about how they have the ear and eye of elite professional photographers and directors and have spawned the careers of several rich and famous models and actors.
Have they?

Well.... in a word.... no.

Thank you very much :)

Ill look at all these things and try and take a nicer looking picture :)
