How do you choose which movie to watch?

By the genre?

The director?

The main star?

By the genre. If two movies of the same genre play at the same time at different TV channels, I'll watch the one I haven't seen yet, or, if I've seen them both, the one I like more.

I just see everything playing... On streaming services I just click on stuff randomly.

I check the ratings and reviews. They're pretty accurate. There are large groups of people on websites like Rotten Tomatoes that give structured feedback and criticism. I'm not wasting my time watching bad movies. Some people ask why I do that. Well, that's good question. I wasted 25 dollars on the ticket, money spent on snacks, and 30 minutes spent on a movie that was so bad that I got up and asked for a refund on my ticket which was inconvenient because I couldn't go back in time and pick a different movie. I had to wait until the late show to pick something else.
