Sometimes love isn't what you think it is. Oftentimes in the beginning of the relationship, it's a crush and attraction, but not love. Of course those things can grow into love and even 30 years later keep appearing alongside love 
But how do you know it's love? It's hard to pinpoint really but you want to be near that person a lot and look forward to times when you can just chat or hang out. You'll go out of your way to make time for that person, even when you wouldn't for anyone else.

I think a lot of people like the idea of loving someone, but then eventually get sick of the person they're with after so many years of being with them. I think to love someone, you have to be dedicated to them especially through the tough times. Most people just pack their bags and split when things get ugly. They just want all the fun but don't want to take the bad with the good. You're either all in, or you're all out. There is no in-between.
