Yup, me too.

I could never really understand the handful of countries who have the date format of MM-DD-YYYY and find it somewhat confusing at times.

DD-MM-YYYY makes a lot more sense to me, especially since most countries read from left to right.

In america we put it month/day/year

Makes more sense to me.

Today is June 10th not 10th June

Lol, unfortunately the US is in a minority there mate.

Today is the 11th of June 2010 or 11/6/2010 or 11/6/10 UK time BTW.

Majority isn't always right

But I find this trivial, everyone should all agree to one or the other.

If you look at a year at a whole, it makes sense to pick the month first, and then the day

6/11

And then if you need to identify the year, which is necessary for only formal things usually, you can throw the year on the end. Doesn't matter to me though

DD-MM-YY

That's how everyone does it over here.

Day/Month/Year

Today is the 11th June 2010

Gotta go with Day Month Year, a lot of the others just confuse me.

I agree

Since I don't say The Sixth of June and instead say June Sixth, I put it in MM/DD/YY.

How dare you call us a Minority! I'll call the military over to where you live right now. Muahahahaha!

But yeah, it goes June 10 in my book. If it's in numbers, I like: DD/MM/YY, but if you spell it all out, I like MM/DD/YY

June 11, 2010... MM/DD/YYYY

Although...I did get used to DD/MM/YYYY in Spanish class...but I say June 11th, not 11th of June.

DD/MM/YYYY

Seems more logical to me to have the shortest period first. A day only being 24 hours goes first.
