How many pets is too many?

How many pets do you think is too many for one person/family to have. I feel that maybe after 7 the family would just neglect some of them. What are your thoughts?

Depends on how many pets a person can financially afford to properly take care of all their needs.

For me it depends on what type of pet you get. If I had a dog I would only have about 1 or 2.

That does work when the people have to work and the animal is left alone for much of the day.

A big family could have more pets because there is more people to give them love and attention. A single person shouldn't have a lot of pets unless they have a lot of free time.
