Happy Halloween all. I'll be switching back tomorrow morning or so to a normal set. Then by Thanksgiving or so I'll do festive weirdo stuff.

I only eat candy once a year and that is on Halloween so you know i im snacking on some recess right now.

Happy November! How was everyone's Halloween?

Mine was good. Stayed home and passed out candy. Got a couple take-n-bake pizzas on the way home from work. My BF's mom came over to hang out and she brought her grandson (my BF's nephew) .

I took the nephew around the block and a couple streets over to trick or treat real quick.

Came back and ate pizza, had a couple drinks, watched Beetlejuice on TV... it was fun.

We had a lot of trick or treaters. People were out in full force starting at around 6pm. Everyone had such cool costumes on!

After around 9pm the trick or treaters started to dwindle. We had a group come by at around 9:05pm and we hooked them up with lots of extra candy. I said whoever comes next gets the rest of everything we got. The last group came by around 9:20pm and they got A TON of candy. More than anyone else got by far, thats for sure. They were shocked and so thankful. After that I shut off the porch lights and called it a night.

Good times

Wow! Great holiday for you! Sounds like it could not have been better. :ok:

We were good 'boy scouts' and were prepared  but we got 0 trick or treaters. We had our porchlight on, but as far down the street as we could see none of the neighbors were home. :search: :p

Same as every other day. I don't 'do' Halloween.

My halloween was awesome! Watched The Howling III, Friday the 13th parts 5 and 6 & played Dig Dug where I scored 153,480 in 22 rounds.

Rather uneventful. Went out grocery shopping so left the candy bowl outside, came back to find at least someone had come because a few bars were gone. Decided to just leave it out all night to save dealing with answering the door and by the end of the night most of the candy was gone. Didn't really do anything different with the night for myself than if it was any other day of the week though.

Yeah it was a pretty good Halloween! I am relatively new to this neighborhood (been here a couple years) and I like how everyone around here gets into the Halloween spirit! Almost every house decorates and passes out candy. A few of my neighbors were hanging out outside with fire pits going in their driveways. I think next year I will do the same.

We had a dozen kids show up for candy. It's not near as big as it once was, tbh. I think it has to do with COVID, the rise on stuff, and just no one being that into Halloween due to the pandemic. I've had some neighbors and family who did decorate for Halloween not do so anymore.
