How's your handwriting?

Has anyone ever told you that they can't understand your handwriting? Do you have difficulties understanding something someone else wrote?

How's your handwriting in general? Heavily personalized or more 'by the book' type, the kind we've been taught at the elementary school? Perhaps something in the middle?

my hand writing is hybrid of print and cursive
and yes mainly my family don't seem able read my hand writing and sometimes my self
my teachers were able read it somewhat
sometimes it can really hurt trying get a job

I tend to stick to 'by the book' as much as I can, mainly to make it as easier as possible to read my handwriting.

Doctors, on the other hand... daaaaamn. I feel sorry for the pharmacists who have to decipher the names of the prescribed drugs the patients come over to pick up.

Yeah, I have to hold the pen wrong to get a grip on the pen and my eyesight is horrible!

Printing is easier.

My hand writing is terrible, however I'm good at art. I'm actually jealous of some people that I've seen in my life time because they have flawless hand writing.
