A topic for all those who enjoy hunting in their spare time.



I have only been bunting once, but plan to go hunting soon.

Let's see,

this weekend is the Youth Hunt--which is for children up to the age of 12. Modern gun season for deer.

Elk hunting season is October 5 through October 11.

Bow and Arrow season starts on October 12 and continues off and on into December.

Black Powder season is sometime in October--I forget when, as I don't go.



Modern gun for deer is Nov 14 through 25.

And another week of black powder season in December.



We may go for the fall turkey hunt too--I have to check the dates......

I'm pretty good with a Mosin Nagant in my hands. Yes I'm a hunter, and yes, I find it a pretty enjoyable pass time.



Many animals hunt one another, so I don't see why I can't join in the game.

My uncle goes all the time. I havent been since I was little. I remember I went duck hunting once.. It was sooooo hard. My uncle could hit them with no problem, but I think its hard to hit a moving target in the air..

Duck meat sure does taste unique though.

I hated that stupid dog. I found a game on the internet somewhere once where it was duck hunt, but instead of shooting the ducks, you shoot that dog.

Sounds like you need some more range time....lol.



Hubby went bow hunting this weekend. Got a deer. Not to shabby---too bad he didn't use a more lethal means of hunting--I guess the deer would be more dead then......
