A 19-year-old in England got high on a drug nicknamed "meow meow" before stabbing his mother and slicing off his penis off, police say.

The West Sussex teen, whose name has not been released, took mephedrone on December 29 shortly before attacking his 46-year-old mother, the Mirror reported.

The woman called police and “when the police arrived they found him hanging from a window and then discovered he had cut off his penis," a family friend told the Mirror.

Surgeons were reportedly able to reattach the penis.

A man from Taiwan who reportedly chopped off his own manhood during an argument with his girlfriend in May was not so lucky. Doctors were unable to reattach the mangled member on account of the man having flushed it down the toilet.

And a Chinese man who hacked off his love muscle in October forgot to bring it to the hospital with him when he changed his mind about going penis-less. By the time he recovered it, the organ had lost too much blood for reattachment to be possible.
