I did a virus scan again after a year or so ...

It was about time, as I was getting sick by my computer freezing and getting errors in games I play, which cause me alot of time loss. Anyway yesterday after a very long time I did a virus scan that lasted 12 hours or so and cleaned some bad stuff up.

I can't believe you waited 12 MONTHS to do scan. I scan my PC every 2 weeks.

I've not scanned my computer since I've upgraded to windows 7. Once I've learned of the fact that most programs do background scanning, I don't do on demand scanning unless I feel something is wrong.
