'I don't like fat people'

I HATE people that say stuff like this.



Last night my mum yelled at me for being 'fat' she didnt call me over weight, she called me 'fat' also said 'you should be ashamed of yourself, you look disgusting, your disgracefull, where has my beautiful goddess/daughter gone'



She is talking about me now I can hear her. :/



Anyway, came home from work today... I actually prefer being at work than I do at home.



She'd calmed down alot, but said she'd done my BMI etc etc. Didnt get to the part where she told me what it was, as I had said if you going to nag/yell at me again I don't want to know.



Anyway... She tells me that last night she said 'you are overweight and I don't like how you look' BULL!! no you didn't!! I told her how I felt and how much she hurt/upset me, but she doesnt actually care... Just looked at me and said....'I don't like fat people.' and then turned to look the other way.

I have alot of 'big' friends and they are lovely people.

Wow. Does she happen to have suffered from anorexia or something similar in the past? That's the only arguably understandable reason for her to have such a viewpoint.

I hope you don't let her get to you though. You're a wonderful person, don't forget it.

That's a cruel and terrible thing to say to any person let alone your own daughter. I'm sorry is about all I can say right now to you Rev as I'm in disbelief a mother would do this.

Or... severely insecure with herself? I agree with Jazzy. I have trouble seeing this happening, because that's just insane for your own mother to say that. I'm really sorry Revo, maybe she needs help and you're the one to help her, otherwise, don't let her negative, hateful comments get to you. Try to ignore them, because they'll get you down, but don't let them. Hope things get better with you and your mom.
