If you were an inventor, what would you invent?

I think I'd create little shelves in computers (like when you win on machines in the casino)

so if you want something, (I don't know, say you're reading up on a new type of chocolate), you can press a button on the computer- and boom. said chocolate falls on the shelf for you to have their and then.

would make a lot of people happy I think

A descrambler to reveal pixellated out faces on photographs. The cloak of anonymity is the garment of the coward and if you don't want anyone to know what you're up to, you shouldn't do it.

Replicator (from Star Trek)

I'll bet @Smiley knows what that is :p

Replicator? Is that a Star Trek version of a Xerox machine? :whistles:

You don’t have to cook food or go to the store again, you just say what you want and it appears

Practically anything you program a molecular structure into it. Early 23rd century replicators had limited capability and were referred to as the food dispensers, but 24th century & onward models can create pretty much anything.

Like Maseratis ?

Sign me up! When will my replicator order be shipped & delivered?

That already exists in 2-3 European countries that have legalized Euthanasia though. I believe one of them doesn't even require you to have documentation of mental (or any kind of) illness.

No, but it's like a pod. And a very stylish one for whatever reason. I don't have audio rn, but is that guy at the end breaking the queue even in this situation lmao?

Bender? The robot. Yeah hes a cheapskate and a rule breaker until the bitter end :p

Is this the pod you're talking about:

"...legal experts are not convinced."

Of course they're not. It's their job to argue against everything, even it means playing the devil's advocate. They would rather see humans living in pain and suffering than to let them find salvation in death, even if it's by their own hand.

Of course, if suicide wasn't such huge taboo and people were free to do it, the lawyers would argue in favor of it if someone would try to ban it for whatever reason.

Man I fucking hate that aspect of legality/being a lawyer. You HAVE to argue for your side's or client's agenda even if it goes against everything you believe in. Truly an irksome profession.

I would invent a time machine, straight up.

Does it count if I've already invented something useful in response to it not existing?

What did you invent?
Well my utility bandolier for one. Though re-invented would be a better description. And of course the wearable computer I use when I go out places for privacy.
