Iggy Pop born James Newell Osterberg, Jr.; April 21, 1947) is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and actor. Though widely known as an innovator and "godfather" of punk rock,Pop's music has encompassed a number of styles over the years, including pop, hard rock, jazz and blues. Pop became known as 'Iggy' in high school, during which time he served as drummer for local blues band The Iguanas. He is vocalist of influential protopunk band The Stooges (Pop and the other surviving members of the group reunited in 2003), having become known, since the late 1960s, for his outrageous and unpredictable stage antics.

Iggy Pop is one of my favorite singers! He sings punk rock music that's why I like him. My favorite Iggy Pop's song is The Passenger:

I have read many articles about him. He tried so much to become a singer. I really admire him. Unfortunately, many persons don't like him because of his appearance. I disagree. Every person has a different character and every person has a different appearance. I know that he had many problems with drugs, but now he is okay. He hasn't visited Greece to sign, so I am thinking of going to other countries to listen to him live! Anyway, I don't want to say many things, have you ever heard of him? Do you like his songs?
