They're illegal immigrants. They should enter a country legally, and be accepted as a legal resident. That's the basics.

I think some sympathy should go out to illegal immigrants. There is a lot of steps involved in becoming a citizen of a country. If they are desperate and need to escape a harsh, hostile, etc environment then I cant be too mad at them for wanting to save themselves/their family from that.

I couldn't agree more, But that's not how most of the world is looking at it. They make it soo hard for illegals to get legal. I mean cmon, they should have it easier with less steps to get legal.

It's annoying, isn't it? Lots of illegal immigrants (asylum seekers) have been coming to Australia from Indonesia, and then the crew of the ship make a run for it and leave the immigrants for the Australian Government to deal with. I reckon that if someone in a country makes the place unsafe and unpleasant for the good people, they should be gone. So yes, I would actually agree with swapping some Australian born citizens with some illegal immigrants. Go for it.

My post was worded pretty badly. I would swap people that want to make a decent and honest living for those who are just screwing up other people's chances.

Well there is no perfect world or country.. There will always be bad egg's and they come in every color and creed.



Anyways, in america, many people complain about the illegal mexicans coming up and stealing their jobs

If you haven't noticed.. They are out working the fields, working in canneries, mc donalds and all the other jobs that the average american typically doesn't do... The fact that they are here, working, and being a contributor to society, they should be made a citizen. After all isnt that way America is all about? What happened to that whole

If the conditions are bad enough, some countries will let you in on just that; like Canada. If you are coming to work, so be it. If you are a harder worker than the other Nebulous, you deserve to stay. If you aren't, you won't succeed, and shouldn't come. That's why I like work visas. Immigrants come to fill jobs we needed, and unless they do the job, will be deported.
