Let's pretend I am coming to visit you for two weeks. Tell me some of the sights and/or attractions you would take me to see.

My collection of vintage consoles, the radio station I (almost) always listen to, my cellphone history (detailed!) and what I do every night. :P

I'd take you to a village I used to live in and walk you to a open mine that's filled with water, 'cause the water is pretty to see, turquoise. And well, maybe to the next city...however small it is. There's not much to see around here, just nature-ish places.

Sounds very interesting. Not sure about what you do every night. Can you explain that more?

The open mine sounds beautiful. I love nature so I know I'd enjoy my visit very much.

Go to the movies, play pool, go bowling, go karts, go to a bar/pub... Stuff you can do in any town most likely.

Sounds like fun as long as you're paying!

Pfft, I think I will bypass California.

California has enough tourists anyway. :P

Obviously a walk along the shore (literally a 2 minute walk from my building), where I would point out Netley Hospital, which was the first hospital ever set up by Florence Nightingale for war veterans who had been blinded by Mustard Gas.

Then, in the town centre is the famous Bargate, originally built by the Romans, as the name suggests as the main gateway through the City Walls (which were flattened by the blitz, yet the Bargate survived.

Of course, the liner berths, where all the Cunard ships berth, as well as being where the Titanic set off from on her ill fated maiden voyage. Then, a little while outside the city, across the river from here, the New Forest. An artificial forest originally established by Henry VIII as a source of wood for his Navy, as well as a hunting ground, as well as all the wild ponies which roam the forest.

I could go on & on with all the historical stuff connected with Southampton, but that would take far more than 2 weeks - more like 20 years.

^ Sounds like you've got a lot of history there :)

I would get yelled at by my mom for allowing a stranger over to my condominium.
