:fright: Do you get easily scared by video games?

The Evil Within sort of creeped me out a bit. That and some of the Silent Hill games give me the creeps.

Ehh, yes and no. Depends on the genre. For instance, Dead Space scares the shit out of me. I just have a thing about being in space and on an abandoned space station infested with aliens. P.T. also scared the living daylights out of me, but that's really the only game I can think of that scared me to that extent.

well i mean i suppose i could get a little scared if the lights are off and it's night-time and a fucking zombie comes out of nowhere

Last game that made me jump in my chair a bit was F.E.A.R. Not really surprising, since the game is designed to keep you in suspense pretty much the whole time and occasionally scares you with some unforeseen event at the place you'd probably least expect it. Not to mention the name of the game is dead giveaway of what you can expect in it. :P

I do! Lol

I remember when resident evil first came out. Came across a zombie that appeared to be dead, then suddenly it grabs you and tries to eat your foot! I literally jumped!

The only video game that I recall scaring me was Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. It was scary as a child, it's still scary today.

Imagine this: You walk into a poorly lit room. You shine your rifle-mounted flashlight into every particularly dark corner, but see nothing that might pose a threat to you. The room appears to be safe, so you walk up to the large closet on the opposite side of the room, hoping to find something useful inside, like a health pack, fresh armor, ammo, or whatever. Just as you are about to open it, the closet doors burst open, a scary looking monster wearing a dress jumps at you, knocks you to the ground and runs away. You fire a couple of shots after him, but miss.

Question: If you hadn't come around, would the poor monster ever come out of the closet or would he spend the rest of his life hiding his feminine side from the world? :P

Some of the shit in Resident Evil and Silent Hill creep me out. Don't play these games in the dark.
