I'm sorry, stranger!

We all do things accidentally (or intentionally) while out in the public. Driving mishaps, maybe you taunted/harassed someone when you were an immature teenager, maybe someone asked you for directions and you realized you gave them the wrong info after they were gone, maybe you left an extra messy table after eating at a restaurant, you get the idea....

What stranger do you owe an apology to? What happened?

Most likely the last thing was getting mad at another driver for doing something and then realizing they were in the right, but I can't think of a specific incident right now.

I do always apologize when someone bumps into me but when it's their fault I nearly always mumble to myself something along the lines of "not that sorry, but whatever..."

I always feel like I have to turn onto a different street when I make a stupid driving move, its embarrassing knowing everyone around me seen that stupid move so I need to get out. I think we all know waving at the other driver is considered an apology, but that doesn't eliminate road rage.

I'm terrible at giving directions. Last week a woman asked me how to get to the courthouse. I told her and then as she drove away, I remembered I forgot one additional right hand turn she needed to make. Not making that additional right hand turn, she would have wound up at the library NOT the courthouse. So, if I knew her name and phone number, I owe her an apology.

My problem is that I know how to get anywhere but I don't always pay attention to the names of
the roads.

This one happened in January, I was at a shoe store and for some reason I was looking at two girls. Then minutes later one of them told me what was the issue with her, but I did try to apologise for that.

Dunno exactly, but it was some sort of misunderstanding and I want to avoid those events from now on.
