I never had one, which I always thought was strange because as a kid, I never had real ones, either.
I guess there wouldn't be anything wrong with having one, just as long as that person knew they were imaginery- and by that I mean, getting too involved to the point that they are constantly part of their personality

My daughter had one and I remember being scared of it, which is odd. I don't remember what she called it and I had forgotten about it until this thread came up. It didn't last because she went to school and gained a lot of friends.

I did, his name was Timmy. I used to tell everyone about Timmy and pretend that he was there. I told people that I could see him but the truth was, I never saw anyone. It was just a thing I made up for fun.

Not that I remember. I did have a full blown conversation with something/someone in the corner of my bedroom when I was on Ambien. Does that count?

I think they can be good things in certain situations.
