No, I have never had any imaginary friends. But I knew kids back in daycare and elementary school that did.

I did, his name was Timmy. I used to tell everyone about Timmy and pretend that he was there. I told people that I could see him but the truth was, I never saw anyone. It was just a thing I made up for fun.

Anyone ever seen the movie Drop Dead Fred?

I had a group of imaginary friends when I was a child. I don't remember their names. I think as I aged, and discovered a passion for writing, the characters I write about became those imaginary friends. It takes the chore out of writing a dialog for a character when you can think of them as a friend.
