My daughter is playing,

Uh.. Dolls tied up by their wrists, floating in the hallway? Apparently the carpet is shark infested waters & they are swinging over on a vine to escape. Gotta love a kid using their imagination

What creative ways did you use your imagination when you were a kid?

Nebulous, what your daughter did is amazing! I was a tomboy so I would set up cardboard boxes and get my toys guns and have a shoot out with dolls I placed around the boxes. I'd put band aides on the wounded ones!

I also had loads of toy cars, i'd push them everywhere, over the carpet and furniture lol. it was like a race track in my mind LOL. Must have drove mum mad.

And board games, parents would never play with me so had to have imaginiary friends or my teddys.

I'd play with Dragonball Z action figures and come up with a script on the spot and have fighting scenes of 60 minutes long XD

As a child we couldn't afford a lot of toys, so one thing my Dad would do is hard boil an egg and we'd draw faces on it and pretend they were our babies. I made a cardboard box bed for mine.

When we broke them ( and they always seemed to get broke before the night was over) we'd eat them.

Also, my Dad and Mom would have picnics on the living room floor and we would hold pretend concerts where we made tickets for admission. Did the same things for when the family was gonna watch a movie together. My sister and I would pretend to be ushers. Then we would pretend to have a resturant and Mom and Dad would have to wait in line outside our bedroom door because we were so busy. When they finally got in we'd sit them down at our finest table A plastic table with pensil legs and eraser stools. Then they would look at the menu we drew up and order something simple like toast or orange juice and we'd bring it to them.

Ahh, good times. Kinda miss those days.
