What is one thing you did that you immediately regretted after you did it?

Probably quitting a job I had back in the a day. I didn't have any other options the time. Make sure you have another job lined up when you quit your old one.

Likewise. After I lost my job which was my fault. Being unemployed and needing/ wanting money made me pretty desperate. I made a rushed decision and took a job from a vacuum soliciting company call Hyla over a full time cooking job at a retirement home. Big mistake. Then I ended up working at Wal-Mart from 2010 to 2013.

I worked at Wal-Mart in the early 2000's. Worst job ever.

2010 to 2013. I hated it. You can't work there and support a family unless you're in management.

I remember the managers worked 12 hour shifts. Yeah you can (barely) support your family, but you'll never see them.

I didn't hate working at Walmart, but I didn't like some aspects of it. The managers were good to me, but the work could be a little tedious at times and the holidays are insane there where you get buried in freight.

Anywho, the thing I immediately regretted the most is probably asking every woman I've asked out because I didn't really give us a chance to get to know one another really well before asking them out, so I probably came off as a creeper.

What was your job there?

Unloading trucks is the worst!
I was on the grocery side where it all comes on pallets, the GM side is where you unload it box by box onto a rail and sort it onto pallets. I got away from that as quickly as possible.

Mine didn't have a grocery side. Just a 2 or 3 aisle food section. Thats where I worked. They had basic stuff like condiments, soda, etc. Stuff you'd find in a convenience store basically.

Honestly getting out of the military. I should have stayed in and I didn’t and I let my ex wife talk me into it

I sometimes miss my days in the military. I even occasionally dream that I'm back, wearing a military uniform, eating what the military says is "food", walking through the barracks' halls, etc.

Not sure why, though. The whole experience wasn't really pleasant. Horrible food, shitty accommodations, being ordered around by an intellectually inferior jerks, etc.

On the bright side, I learned how to disassemble, clean, lubricate, reassemble and fire an AK-47, so I guess that's something.

It was just a Walmart then, I worked at a Walmart Supermarket.

We have one of those, I think it’s called Wal Mart Neighborhood Market or something like that.
I don't know if it's called Walmart Supermarket anymore, but that's what they use to call Walmart's that had a full GM and grocery section.
