I like the Deftones sub band, CROSSES. It's labeled as Goth rock/ pop.

Deftones come off goth with some of their songs if you ask me. A lot of their songs are dark themed.

I haven't really jumped into the Goth scene since I was a teen. I got sort of over goth when the other people I knew who were into it got so serious about it that I was no longer considered into goth because I did wear the typical goth fashion. No thanks...music is one thing, having to play act to fit in is not my thing. I always like AFI, who were goth until everyone accused them of being mainstream, lol, HIM aswell were good. Been a long, long time since I've dipped my toes in, though, so no idea who's there and what's good these days.

I used to not know what the difference between Goth and Emo was because their dress style was both in black, but someone told me that Goths will tell you to burn in Hell and Emo's will cry you a river and are very dramatic. In any case, In high school I did hang out with a goth group who wore Slip Knot t-shirts and talked about Satanism and doing witch craft, even though I never dressed like them. My mother would have kicked my ass if I ever did. But to be honest, I had a thing for goth girls and that's mainly why.

Did you ever like Marilyn Manson?

Dude was the shit back in the 90's and early 2000's. Most goths based their look off of him or Brandon Lee's The Crow.

Manson was my hero back in the day until he changed I wasn’t happy with Golden Age of Grotesque I liked Holy Wood and his earlier stuff
