Just been playing on Final Fantasy with my friends. I've had my headset on for 2 hours and neither of my friends have spoke to me. They were yapping on and on about the bosses and stuff in the game much higher level than me and at first I just listened.
Then I started to talk about the quests I was doing, no response from them what so ever.
The brother than starting talking very loudly about the the strategy for theyre next boss level. Baring in mind the person who he talking to is sat next to him!!!!! He almost deafened me and he wasnt even talking to me!!!
I then say to both of them. Im going to need your help on my next quest as its a 4player dungeon level. Both ignore me. I then say 'can you actually hear me.'
One replies very quick and sharp 'yea....sorry...' And then carries on talking to her brother. Wtf?!?!

I then start getting sarcastic, still nothing, sarcasim gets louder and more frequent. Finally i get a response about something i talked about 30 mins previously.

I say to her ive been talking to myself for the last hour or so, she says i was queit and not speaking. And the brother says, 'yeaaa that was probably because we were about to do the primal boss'
Well ****ing hell next time you do that let me know and i will log off!!!

I then try and talk to them again i get ignored. I then take my headset off for a few mintues. As its hurting my head. Go back back on 2 mins later, both have logged out of my ps4 party but are still playing the game.

I sent a msg to my friend on facebook saying well bye then. Wtf seriously. She will make it out like its my problem.

When you get this frustrated with a game. Its best just to take some time away from it. Maybe a few days or a week. With Online games. People pretty much do what they want and you kind of just have to accept it.

Are you trying to be funny? Its hard to have 2 conversations and concentrate on fighting a hard boss! Plus you were quiet for ages before that not saying anything, wasnt even sure you were still there at one point!


Not much to say when two people are talking about something i have no idea about, when i did talk, no reply, sl gave up in the end. Resorted to sarcasm and got a response.

Agreeing. Offline gaming is the only way to recover yourself from those pricks. It happens on CoD multiplayer sessions as well.

Especially those CoD fanboys. Most of them are 12-year-olds saying shit about newbies sucking at it. I was a victim of that IRL and I remember it bitterly.

I was on Rust the other day and the people in the chat were calling each other immature and shit like that.  It was hilarious.  They're a bunch of low-lifes with nothing better to do than bully people online.

When playing Online games like WoW, Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2.

Just seems you need to have a lot of friends and acquaintances. That way if one person fails to help you. You have like 20 more on a friends list you can instant message. It normally gets the job done.

I even would join a guild to get around this problem. Helped in volumes. Its something to think about if you haven't done it already. Just speaking from experience. Also my humble opinion.  ^^
