A bunch of Italian prisoners at a jail in Sicily have produced a video of themselves dancing and singing along to Pharrell Williams' Happy.

The video, made with the blessing of prison officials at the Casa Circondariale Luigi Bodenza prison in the Sicilian city of Enna, also stars prison guards and staff.

A message at the start says it was made to show that, even inside, it was possible to take part in the global movement for happiness sparked by the hit song.

Hell, I'd be happy too if I could work out in the gym, use computers, and read books in the library. Nice to know America isn't the only country making jails "country clubs".

What do you think?

This song is forever tainted.
