Oct 22 (Reuters) - An Egyptian talk-show host faces a four-month jail term after a court convicted him of insulting President Mohamed Mursi, state media reported on Monday.



Tawfiq Okasha, whose show appears on his own channel, can appeal the sentence after paying 100 Egyptian pounds ($16.39) bail, a source in the court in southern Egypt said.

It's against Human Rights. If anything should have precedence it's that crap.

Also, if they don't like it then move?

What? And keep moving till there's nowhere left to move?

You can't keep doing that, though. Sometimes you have to stand up for your rights or risk losing them altogether. Moving only works as long as there are countries where you can do [whatever] and if no one stands up for their rights, the number of countries that allow [whatever] will shrink till there's no place left.

True, that's an important issue here.

Unfortunately I cannot answer that. Consensus should define right and wrong... but then things like persecution, extortion and propaganda enter the picture.
