Internet Addiction

Are some people addicted to the internet? Could this be something that is diagnosed?

Sure, diagnosing it would be harder though; people need to use the internet a lot...

I don't believe that you can diagnose someone with an internet addiction, because the internet is not an addiction, it's a habit, if that. Real addictions are meth and pot, not the big E. It really comes down to self-control and responsibility. For example, if you have a project due the next day and you haven't even started it, then any controlled, responsible individual would get off the internet and do their work.



Bottom line is that I may get on the internet more than I should, but I'm not addicted and I do all of my homework/study for tests.
