A Texan internet troll who posted voyeuristic photos of underage girls without their permission on the popular social news site Reddit has had his true identity exposed.
Under the pseudonym of Violentacrez, Brutsch presided over an unending fountain of images of scantily-clad underage girls taken from their Facebook profiles without their permission, as well as posting images and comments under the subreddits 'Misogyny' and 'Incest'
.
He contends that he never published anything illegal, and deleted any images of child pornography uploaded by other users.
On Friday, journalist Adrian Chen, who writes for the New-York based Gawker website, exposed Brutsch's name, marital status and place of work in a post entitled Unmasking Redditââ¬â¢s Violentacrez, The Biggest Troll on the Web.
He argued in the post: If Brutsch did not want his employers to know that he had become a minor internet celebrity through spending hours every day posting photos of 14-year-olds in bikinis to thousands of people on the internet, he should have stuck to posting cat videos.
Brutsch also operated the 'Creepshots' subreddit, dedicated to photos of women taken without their permission in public places, including so-called 'upskirt' shots.
