Good for entertainment, tell all the activists & others to stop blaming corrupt morals, violence (etc) on the television, movie and music industries. All that existed before we had these vices.

This is an extremely vague question, and really offers up a black-and-white mentality, sort-of similar to the Wal-Mart thread that was made earlier. Is Hollywood bad or good? This depends particularly on perception, but at the same time, you're targeting something that is particularly large and not excluded to one particular thing. Some aspects about it might be bad, and some elements of it might be good, and some entities might be entirely separate and thereby, should not be dragged through the mud by association.

i was talking about industry-wise...

and i made it vague for a reason so people may share their thoughts and opinions in a way that's not too exclusive...

I feel like knowing what is being debated might be beneficial to the discussion. If you are asking a question like this, there's very little substance to work with. In-fact, I find myself more compelled to debate over the structure of the thread more than the thread itself.
