Is it ever acceptable for a man to hit a woman? (Please explain your answer)

I don't think there is an absolute answer to that question.

Under 'normal' circumstances, no, of course not.

But I can think of a dozen scenarios just off the top of my head that would be one or more steps out of that boundary where it might be done, in some cases, it might be the only reasonable option without resorting to deadly force.

Unless their life is in danger or they fear they could get injured, no. No man should hit a woman. And no man should hit another man on the other side.

I do not believe that a man should ever hit a woman. However, the same goes for woman. I don't believe that a woman should ever be able to hit a man. I believe in defending yourself and restraining the person so they can no longer hurt you. But as far as hitting, I don't believe it is acceptable. Now, if it was either I hit this individual or they will potentially kill me then you better believe I will definitely hit them. Hard. lol

Exactly. Lots of malicious woman work at getting hit so they can use it to put their man in jail.
