Is satellite technology good?

what's everyone's opinion on Satelite technology, I am talking about those things they put out to space, Do you think it's destroying space or do you think it's amazing and great way to keep us all connected?

I heard that Elon Musk was gonna put another machine out to space to connect all of the world even bushlands with the internet, In honesty, I see the good and bad side to this, But Dish Technology is convenient.
