I don't know if this has happened too you.
But you go too the checkout line with the items that you are going to purchase.
And then they say...
Is that all?
Of course its all. I am spending money here don't ask me if thats all.
I got the items I needed now lets move on.
What do you guys think?

Sounds like bad customer service. Could've said something like, "Did you find what you were looking for?" which allows the customer to then say yes or no, prompting you to either A) say something along the lines of: "That's great!" or B) "What is it you were looking for?"

That usually happens at fast-food places. I suppose they just want to make sure before they complete the transaction.

It makes sense that it'd happen at a food place since you're telling them your order.

I don't mind in the least. I've heard this when calling an order in for take-out. They are asking to make sure you haven't forgotten anything.

Ha ......That's like the truck driver that got his trailer wedged under an overpass and the cop asked him if he was stuck.....Here's your sign......
That's a great analogy.

That is a better thing for an employee to say. That I don't mind.

And consider I don't eat at fast food places I don't have to deal with it there.
