Is this the ghost of a samurai soldier standing behind a little girl?

A spine-tingling image has emerged appearing to show the ghost of a samurai soldier standing behind a little girl.

The photo was taken along the Japanese shore in Kanagawa – supposedly near tombs of soldiers who died in battle.

It shows eerie black boots behind the girl’s legs, giving the impression he is looking out to sea.

The disturbing images were uploaded to Reddit with the user ‘Obiaruf’ insisting they have not been Photoshopped.

A description reads: ‘I’m not saying it’s anything – just that it looks an awful lot like disembodied boots and legs.

‘I know there are several very old samurai tombs nearby.

I would like to see a photo of the same area without the girl in it before I comment either way.

But as for "disembodied legs"... ... that is not the usual manifestation of a human spirit. In fact, the lower extremities are often the LAST things to be seen, fade from view, or are often missing all together.

I'm wondering if there isn't a statue there and they way she's standing above it, we can only see the legs and feet of the statue. Since there are several very old samurai tombs nearby, it might make sense that it is, indeed, a statue.

IF, as the photographer indicated that this photo is NOT retouched in any way, it would seem that whatever has appeared in the developed photo was NOT evident when the photo was taken, which would explain why there's no photo of the same spot before or after, showing what's behind the little girl in real life and in real time.

It would appear the photo was NOT taken on a digital camera, or the feet would have been IMMEDIATELY obvious, and the photographer would have IMMEDIATELY taken another photo to show that there's no little samurai midget statue in the spot.

It's either a true mystery (IF untouched) or a really, poorly unthought-out scam. I'd ask the photographer what type of camera was used when taking the photo; if it IS a digital camera, it's a scam...or else he/she would have taken the necessary steps TO further *validate* the ghost claim.

And if that is not enough to give you chills, here is a picture taken immediately after. You will see that there was absolutely no one behind her.

However on the other hand

Now I can see his blue shirt sleeve under her elbow. It's a person standing behind the girl facing a different direction. Then in the second shot, the person merely walked out of camera view.

Actually I photographed a spirit emerging from my daughter and it clearly shows feet and one leg passing through her body. With the feet and leg is a pink rainbow aura also coming out if my daughter. The difference in my pic and this particular op is that those black boots are very clear and realistic and true to life. In my pic the entity is cloudy like, more translucent, and definitely more typically ghostlike. Anything is possible but my personal experience tells me something doesn't quite fit the claims.
