It seems absurd, but the architects of countless atrocities including burning men alive and raping and selling women are looking for a fitness instructor – because some of the militants have put on weight.
A Briton who left the UK to join Isis in Syria has posted a list of jobs online for wannabe jihadists who don’t want to fight, and they include roles like ‘press officer’ and ‘fitness instructor’.
The man, who writes under the name Abu Sa-eed Al-Britani, said that Isis had work available for people who supported their brutal cause but didn’t want to take part in violence – which he deemed a sign of ‘weak faith’.
According to the job postings, the terror group is searching for people to implement its violent brand of Sharia law and indoctrinate children in Isis-occupied territory to its way of life.
But incredibly, the terror group – who have burned hostages alive, stoned homosexuals to death, and murdered hundreds of prisoners in a single sitting – have also posted ads for ‘fitness instructors’ and ‘press officers’, as well as a host of admin positions.
‘Some brothers come in with a lot of extra “barakah” on them which needs to be burnt off,’ wrote al-Britani.
Al-Britani said that Isis needs to combat what it deems ‘negative Western propaganda’ and gain support from the masses.
On the list of positions within the organisation, the role of bomb-maker is called ‘a beautiful job’ while checkpoint-manner is described as ‘fun and rewarding’.
Al-Britani, who was born Omar Hussain, worked as a security guard at Morrisons before his radicalisation and eventual flight to Syria in 2014.
