It's Only Sexist if Males do it is a quote a friend of mine said when dealing with sexism.

A girl hits/pushes a guy and calls him a c****s****** . Things like this happened when I went to school (name calling especially). It's not a big deal at all.

A guy says the same thing, and he gets in big trouble, expelled, or the law.

Or, the story with the woman who cut off the man's d***

Sharon Osbourne and the Talk Panel

If the reverse happened, and we said we're gonna cut off a girl's b****s, would we be laughing? This is sick...

And ..

I feel this video is relevant:

How can we take feminism seriously when things like this keep happening?

Woman want equality. This is not the way about it.

Ah yes...

The drive for equality went slightly too far, but only in certain areas.

1. Women should be able to say this (men as well for that matter).

2. The hypothetical scenario that came up should also be acceptable.

Prejudice which cannot see the things that are because it is constantly looking for the things that aren't.

I see often and I've seen first hand that when domestic abuse happens people don't see both sides. The man did this or the man was at fault .. but what about the woman?

I really appreciate the whole struggle of equality for women. People like Susan B. Anthony and Sojourner Truth, Rosie the Riveter, Alice Walker, Maya Angelou and Margaret Thatcher.

But then again I don't support that 'superiority' mentality it has become. I know people will ask me what I have any right to say about it. I am a black man. Like women I am a minority. I have been through a lot, I have had to work hard just so people will listen to me. So do I hold reservations, certainly. But I do not hold any chip on my shoulder. I do not feel that any violence done onto white people is somehow justice of any kind. There is no white man's justice and black man's justice. And I do not ask people to ever give me hand-outs. I just ask to be given the same opportunities, the same level of understanding and chances to succeed - no more, no less.

We all entered this earth the same way - weak and helpless with nothing to inherit and yet how some of us believe to be any more superior to the next. Why any one of us believes we are entitled to something simply because we were born into this earth with a certain color or gender.

lord bless us as understanding and goodwill are innately human. lord help us as prejudice and ignorance are also human.

So it is also OK then for various ethnic groups to say and do things that others are prohibited from doing by laws calling said acts and words a hate crime?

If it infringes on other peoples rights, it will not be allowed. A big one I can think of is the religion which requires the children to carry a dagger at a certain age. Something like that would for sure be disallowed.

I agree 100%.

Example me and a female friend had a falling out, I made her cry by what I said, and that's not ok at all, and that makes me a prick. But what she said to me made me feel like shit but that's perfectly fine because she is a saint who can do no wrong.

When my girlfriend gets mad at me, same thing too. She makes me feel like shit. Name calling, etc. That's supposed to be fine, but when I even voice my opinion.. I guess that example has more to deal with the person. She likes to blow things way out of perspective.
