n-FLYING-MONEY-large300.jpg

URBANA, Md. (AP) -- Drivers scrambled to grab money flying around a Maryland highway after an armored truck's door burst open.

Maryland State Police say a lock on the truck seems to have malfunctioned, causing the door to open Friday morning. A bag of cash fell onto Interstate 270 near Urbana and the bills flew in the air.

Police say a number of drivers stopped on the interstate and grabbed what cash they could before a fire department vehicle arrived and turned on its emergency lights.

Responding troopers were able to help the truck's driver recover about $200. It's not known how much cash was lost.

Police urge the drivers who took the cash to return it to the state police barracks in Frederick, or else face charges of theft if they're found.

:money: thoughts?

Well,

The people who took the time to catch the rain fall of cash, shouldn't be charged with theft. It was the companies fault that they money flew away, it should be the companies job to replace it.

They are thieves and should be treated as such. They are acting like a gentler version of the Ferguson rioters. Just because the door failed is not a excuse to take what does not belong to you. If this is not obvious to a majority our decline is worse then I thought.

Taking anything that doesn't belong to you is theft. Plain and simple.

It doesn't matter if a worker opened a bag of money and threw it all over the interstate. The money isn't yours nor was it ever yours. Taking it is wrong regardless of how it fell out of the truck. You'll find most people aren't above stealing as they have more issue with getting caught then actually taking what doesn't belong to them. You also find most will spit out any justification for stealing no matter how backwards it truly is until it gets used on them then they see the absurdity of it but o when it's used on them.

It's no wonder no one can trust anyone in this world anymore as how could you with those types running around?
