Do you use Itunes of Windows Media Player. I used to use WMP but ever since I got an Ipod I have used iTunes.

I use iTunes because of the internet radio. It lets me listen to what I want. It is also really easy to find anything you are looking for. I just don't like iTunes, because the video files you can open with it, and audio files are limited. I use FLAC for most of my audio, and AVI and many other video files, and it doesn't support.

Or you can just add to your library. You can add any supported media files to iTunes. You're not restricted to just using their files.

iTunes plays all my music, cause it's quicker than WMP when you have big libraries. And WMP freezes every time you sneeze (and i have hayfever, therefore it freezes a lot.

VLC for anything else.

Neither. Itunes is actually really horrible, although it is better than WMP. And I also hate how itunes is trying to sort of dominate the market. With that being said I use foobar2000. It can play any mediatype and one reason I like it is that it can read .zip and .rar files without me unzipping them. And supposedly it is the choice of player for audiofiles which I'm sort of becoming. =p

You're actually one of the first people on a forum in a long time that has even heard of foobar. Kudos to you. I use it because I usually burn discs on my computer in FLAC format. Phenomenal audio quality.
