A jack of all trades is a master of none

1. Do you think this is true?

2. Do you have one particular skill that you excell in or are you moderately versed in a variety of different things?

3. Do you think it is possible to naturally excell at everything?

------------

My answer to each:

1. I think it is somewhat true. Although you may be good at everything, you may not have molded your skills to become a master in your field.

2. Without pointing out my faults (which are many). I don't really have any useful skills, I'm not really a smart person. I wouldn't call them skills but some things I enjoy are writing and philosophy. As a kid I was always reading and thinking about things and writing about my observations.

3. I think it's possible to naturally be adept at many different things. People who earn straight A's are examples.

There is no such thing as a jack of all trades... Nobody can be good or even moderate at everything out there.

Im sure a jack of all trades person can excel in & master some areas while being mediocre at all sorts of other skills.

1. It is certainly true. If you can pull everything off by yourself you don't have to hire anyone else. Saves a lot of money.

3. Nope, unfortunately not. Nonetheless, one can try to be somewhat proficient in all things.

2. I have certainly tried a few things. I can do a little 3D modelling, I can do a bit of photo-editing, I draw a little... Everyone has lots of things they can do to some degree. Practice makes perfect, so I'm a little better at coding than some.
