The terms Reality and Television are mutually exclusive.
The Observer Effect created by the mere presence of the cameras means people do not behave as the would if they were not on TV.
Throw into the mix that many such shows ARE scripted, or at least directed, to create the situations the producers feel 'make the best TV', and then edited together with that in mind, there is nothing real about them.
And no, Like DQ, I have never seen any of that one or Real Big Dancing Survivor Idol Housewife's Brother either.
