I think i posted on here a while ago that i got a Job at an Old Folks home a few months ago, anyway, i have been working their for a few months, and they are happy with what i am doing.

Basically, they offered me an Apprenticeship/Traineeships in Catering, basically you can travel the country doing cooking etc for different places like in the mines, at schools and things like that.

Even if i didn't want to do that, she said she would get me a job at 18 (you can't work there as a Junior once you are over 18 ), so it's a win win situation.

I was just considering what to do, I've always enjoyed cooking so it's something that interests me, either way this will happen when i get my licence in about 3 months time.

I was wondering what you think of this, do you think i should accept the offer and be guaranteed a job for a few years at least, i will still study, but this is something to fall back on.

I've just sent in an application for a job as well. So many people getting jobs all over the place, hopefully I'm one of them.

Congratulations by the way. Good work.

Congrats

If you love cooking, then the aprentiship'll give you experiance that you might need.

Congratulations and it's a great way to get experience in case you might want to move on down the line.

I have to ring the police senior sergeant tomorrow morning and organize a time so we can get a reference written up for me which should help tremendously with my application/interview - especially with it being the senior sergeant.

(or am I?)

Anyways Lib, the job sound cool! You should go for it!

If you can combine it with studying then you should go for it, however I think your studies should always come first. (I feel so old right now XD )
