Kicked out of the Gas Station

Well I just posted about getting kicked out of the Airport earlier today: http://offtopix.com/showthread.php?t=6501

Just now I was at the gas station after dropping my lil one off at her mom's house. I asked the guy behind the counter: I heard someone who worked here got shot and killed a while back during a robbery. Is that true? he flipped out! He said that was his cousin and started yelling and screaming at me and told me to get out of his store and never come back.. I could see tears in his eyes while he was freaking out..



I said I'm sorry, I didnt know but I dont think he heard me..



What are the odds that I get kicked out of two places in one day?

I understand he's saddened over his loss, but to flip out on you and tell you to never come back? Just maybe.. maybe.. he thought you were the person who killed his cousin and went back to ask him about it to rob it again? I really don't know, but that's the only logical explanation. Getting emotional and flipping out telling a customer to never return is a bit much. Something else was going on in his mind other than he was remembering a lost one.

Anyways Im still going to use that gas station.. He has no valid / legal reasons to ban me from getting gas there. He probably wont even remember me next time I go in there.

That's a funny story actually. I can understand why his upset but as you stated above he has no legal right to ban you from the station so you can just waltz in there next time

I didnt know. I heard about it from someone making small talk. I didnt see it on the news or anything. I was just curious.

Would have been better to say nothing IMO if you'd heard rumours about it and there was always the chance that it would make him emotional. Plus you didn't really put it tactfully
