What's a knock off that's actually better than the original?

i can sort of go there with this one

if you visit Turkey you will find that all the big clothing brands like Nike, Adidas, etc have outsourced there for the cheap labour............the factories will get an order for say 500,000 t shirts.....they will cost for an extra 50000 which will get sold on local markets at cut prices........as counterfeit stuff dosnt officially exist there they can be sold as 'genuine fakes'......i bought loads every time i visited.....i dont mind paying 20% of the real price for a named t shirt

I prefer store brand "Cheerios" to actual Cheerios. The store-brand is always more flavorful and robust.
