They are movies from the Jim Henson Company. No Muppets, but there were indeed puppets!

i loved both, their both good movies

Labyrinth is 1 of my all-time favorite movies. David Bowie was great as the Goblin King.

Quite fond of both. Two of the best fantasy movies ever to come from Hollywood. They are rather different from each other, even if the presence of the Henson company creates some similarities in the look. If push came to shove and I had to pick one, I would probably go with The Dark Crystal but hopefully no one would be sadistic enough to make me choose.

David Bowie was great as the Goblin King.
Which is kind of the movie's weakness, too. It is, perhaps, a bit too reliant on him to carry the show and I am not sure if it would have stood up with someone lesser in that part (though I can think of actors who might have pulled it off).

I enjoy both movies...but I watch the one with David Bowie more.

I liked Labyrinth because it was a fun movie and of course David Bowie was in it.

Labyrinth has always been a favorite of mine. It's ridiculous, but when I was a teen, I loved Bowie in this and couldn't understand why Sarah just didn't give in LOL
