Lady Gaga's first fragrance is apparently called Monster, although Monstrous might be more appropriate for something which aspires to smell like blood and semen (metallicky and, er, milky?).
The name alludes to her camp-as alter-ego, Mother Monster, and to her fans, the Little Monsters. Rumours that it's named in honour of her favourite snack, Monster Munch, are, however, lies, although a scent based on pickled onion might infinitely be preferable to blood and semen.
Gaga will be competing with Madonna, the woman to whom she's often compared, in the perfume arena; the singer-turned-director's first scent, Truth or Dare, is also out next year.
