Once a year where I live there is an invasion of ladybugs. There are thousands of them all over the place. They cling to your clothes, and get inside the house. Last night alone, I must have captured about 20 of them inside my house. I threw them outside only to come back in and there were more all climbing up the walls and on the ceiling.

I was told not to kill them (which I wouldn't) because they give off a terrible ordor if you do. My one friend had so many in her house that she used a vacuum to get rid of them. Thank goodness they seem to disappear after a few weeks but it's gross having them in my house!

My question is: Does this happen too where you live?

We don't have them where I am, but there is a seaside where there is loads of them and there's just millions of dead ladybugs on the floor. They're nice when you only see one or two of them but not in a whole clump.

I feel sorry for you Jazzy!

Thank goodness like I said that it doesn't last long. My poor dog, Louie, is petrified of them. If one lands on him, he cries and then runs to hide under the blankets in his bed.

Awww! Poor Louie!

He's a funny little Miniature Pinscher (weighs 8 lbs) as he will go nose to nose with a huge dog and never back away. Yet if a bug touches him, he will run for his life.

Nope, they stay outside for the most part.

Oh we get these a lot, I hate them. I like the way they look, but they get really annoying when you have so many in your house.

Thank God we haven't gotten them yet. lol

Must be an east coast thing. I see like one ladybug a year around here.
