The United States Marine Corps has a number of really good fighter pilots out there that know how to do their job, and do it well. There are only so many that can be called great fighter pilots though, and one of those would have to be U.S. Marine Corps Capt. William Mahoney. As shown by Gizmodo on June 26, 2014, Capt. Mahoney even knows how to land without landing gear on the USS Bataan.

Back on June 7, 2014, Capt. Mahoney had to land his AV-V8 Harrier aircraft without the use of his nose landing gear so he simply used a footstool.

Apparently, the USS Bataan was operating in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations to help the U.S. Crisis Response forces in the region. He took off from the ship and soon realized his landing gear had a malfunction.

There is training that comes from the Marines, and then there is putting together pure talent and execution the likes of Capt. Mahoney.

That about sums up his incredible perfect landing.
